2014: Avon Walk for Breast Cancer: Santa Barbara

Team Britt

My name is Brittney Cade Dirnt. I'm 31 years old. On April 11th of this year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Approximately 635 other women throughout the U.S. received the same diagnosis on the same day. And the next day, and the day after that. Over 230,000 women per year are diagnosed with breast cancer in the U.S. and 17% will lose their fight. Each one of us is a daughter, a mother, a sister, a wife, a friend, a neighbor or all of these. And that means that we are all in this together.
On September 6 & 7, my family will walk for the cure.  Please join our team by making a donation of any amount to the Avon Foundation's Walk. Our team funds will provide care and support for women who are in need and for research to  find a cure. By donating now, you are doing your part to make breast cancer a disease of the past. Please, do it now!
