WE ARE TEAM MAUREEN
This will be our team's 8th year participating in the Avon Breast Cancer Walk. These past 8 years have been full of memories, fundraising events, team meetings, celebrations and most of all countless miles walked in an effort to fight against breast cancer.
Maureen Buescher has been the inspiration behind our team. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to the members of Team Maureen. In 2002 when Maureen passed away from her 7 year battle of breast cancer, our family took on a challenge to help fight against this disease. Everyone knows someone that has been affected by breast cancer and to this day we continue to walk so people will walk for survivors and not in memory of a loved one, like we do.
Keep an eye out for the lime green Team Maureen shirts because this year we are "IN IT TO END IT"!
