2009: Avon Walk for Breast Cancer: Chicago

Team Lynn

Welcome, and thank you for visiting the home page of TEAM LYNN!

This year marks the second anniversary of TEAM LYNN at the Chicago walk. Lynn was diagnosed in July of 2007, just after her 35th birthday. Her fight wakes us all up to the fact that breast cancer affects young women, like us and our sisters, as well as our mothers. We come from all over the country to walk together to support Lynn, and to raise money for screening and research to stop breast cancer.

NEW!!! T-SHIRT INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND ON JEMMA'S PAGE BELOW. (If you don't have her contact information, please contact the person you do know)

Please join us in any way you can - walk with us, crew with us, cheer for us, sponsor us, or just help get the message out!

We've each made a big commitment. We’ll spend the next few months training to prepare for a walk of up to a marathon and a half. Each team member is required to raise at least $1,800 in donations. But because we're in this together, we know that, with your help, we can do it.

Please support our team. You can make a donation to any team member by clicking on their name, and you’ll be taken to their personal page... If you'd prefer to write a check, just contact one of us and we'll send you the form and information.

Please check back here frequently to see how we're doing, and thanks in advance for your support!

About the Avon Foundation

Now past the half century milestone, the Avon Foundation brings this mission to life through two key areas of focus: breast cancer and domestic violence. The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade launched in 1992, and Avon breast cancer programs in over 50 countries support advancing access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer, with a focus on the medically underserved.
