WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Thanks for visiting my Avon Walk page. If you've come this far, you probably already know that I've committed to participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. That means spending the next few months training and fundraising and then walking for an entire weekend. I'm just one of thousands of people all over the country who will be doing this in 2009, all to raise funds for the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade and support their mission of providing access to care and finding a cure.
Each member of our team is required to raise $1,800 and this year, thanks to everyone's help we have already been successful at doing so!
On April 11, the first Love for Linda Team Fundraiser was held at Kitty's in N. Reading and we're happy to announce that thanks to you and everyone who donated, sponsored us and helped us get items for the drawings we raised over $6,000!
A big and special thanks to the owners and staff of Kitty's for donating the space and food! Hooray!

This is my cousin, Linda Penta. In February, 2007, Linda left us, after a long battle with breast cancer. I am walking these 40 miles with her as my inspiration.
Linda reached out to everyone she ever met and made an impact on every life she came in contact with.
With style, grace and that infectious smile that many of you know so well, Linda lived every day to the fullest.
She is missed and loved by all who knew her.
