Last night, I had my party dress on ready to head out for a New Year's celebration. I decided that I wanted to finish 2008 on a positive note by making a commitment to a worthy cause for 2009. So I registered to participate in the 2009 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. I invite you to join me in getting the new year off to a good start by taking positive steps for change. Please make a tax deductible donation today for the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade and support their mission of providing access to care and finding a cure.
I will be walking for the third year with my good friend, Audrey Ruelas, along with several others in our "Posse". (We welcome new walkers to join our posse!) In past years, I wore the names of your breast cancer survivors on the back of my shirt. I plan to walk for your friends/family again this year....my 2009 list starts with Audrey Ruelas. Send my your names!
