Welcome, and thank you for visiting our Avon Walk for Breast Cancer team's page!
Despite the COLD of camping out on Randall's Island and assorted other issues, we managed to walk our little hearts out!! June was by far our star, as she plowed ahead -- often going in the right direction and not shopping -- but completing the whole marathon and then some. She is quite a force to be reckoned with --
Sharon, despite having an awful cold, completed a good amount of the course as well. Her daughter Kaelyn provided some of the entertainment on the walk -- in the form of a teddy bear!! We have photos of that bear EVERYWHERE!!
Both Carmen and Rosa, despite being unable to join us on the actual walk, raised over $2,300. Great job ladies!!
We are looking forward to the chance to walk again in 2010 -- Charlotte?????
