Walk For A Cure Thanks for visiting my Avon Walk page. I’ve committed to participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It’s a big commitment, one that will require me to spend the next several months training and fundraising. But breast cancer is a big disease, one that still affects far too many people, and I’m determined to do everything I can to help put an end to it. The money I raise will be managed and disbursed by the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade to help provide access to care for those that most need it, fund educational programs, and accelerate research into new treatments and potential cures. I’ll be just one of thousands of people that will walk up to a marathon and a half over a weekend, raising awareness of the cause and educating even more people. |

A Successful Walk!

This past weekend was a huge success with over 2000 participants and 4.6 million dollars raised for Breast Cancer! A huge success because of caring people like you, THANK YOU again! Training Tuesday!
Hi Everyone! Today is the last training Tuesday, before the BIG walk! Got in a 5 mile walk today. Hope to get some more walks in before the week is through.
Also, I received a picture of Katie Haven's today from Cathy Lee. I will be holding it with me as I go on my walk and will get my strength to continue on from her story. Please keep Katie & her family in your prayers!

75% of My Goal Is Reached!
Thanks to all of YOU, my wonderful supporters, I have been able to raise 75% of my fundraising goal thus far. I still need the other 25% and am really counting on the rest of you to help with any amount you can. This is a terrible disease affecting so many today. Won't you please help in the fight for a cure!

T.G.I.F!
Another busy week, thank goodness it's Friday! Should be able to get in a few good walks this weekend as I train for the BIG event. Thanks to all of you who have supported this great cause. I am almost at the half way point in reaching my goal. With just about three weeks left to raise donations...then it's off to the 39 mile walk. Wish me luck!

HAPPY MONDAY!
Hey Everybody, Happy Monday to you! Thanks to all of you who have donated to this GREAT cause! YOU are ALL so AWESOME! My reason to walk just took a big turn last night as I learned about Katie Havens a dear friend of a fellow home stager, who has been battling with cancer. Her story has given me strength to complete the 39 miles and I will be walking for her on September 12th!

Training & Stagings!
So its been a tough schedule this week trying to go walking in between staging several properties. I am probably getting some type of conditioning from loading and unloading furnishings all week, but somehow it doesn't feel quite as good as a nice long walk. Thanks to those who have donated so far... you are all so special to me and I appreciate your effort in the fight against Breast Cancer. I promise I won't let you down...I'm walking the whole 39 miles!

Sunday Stroll!
Happy Sunday Everyone! Went out for a 3 mile walk today...a little more than just a stroll, but I need to keep up with the training so that I'll be in shape by September 12th!
