Walking again in 2010!
It's another year and my cousin Cheryl and I are will be participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Chicago this June 2010. After a lot of thought we decided that we really wanted to make the trek again this year. It will be my third walk and Cheryl's 4th! It is truly an amazing event and I'm really happy to be part of it again in 2010!
It's a big commitment, one that will require me to spend the next several months training and fundraising. Seems there are so many good causes out there, but breast cancer is a disease that has affected so many family and friends. I'm determined to do everything I can to help put an end to it.
I can’t do it without your help. I’m required to raise at least $1,800. With gratitude and love, Dianne

The 'Hey Judes' Team 2009
This is a picture of the 'Hey Judes' in 2009. Judy is in the middle between Cheryl and myself. Judy is my cousin (one of mine and Cheryl's very favorite people!) who was diagnosed in 2007 with breast cancer. Judy (a survivor) walked with us in 2009, along with our other cousin Sharon. The four of us had such a blast together. It was an amazing weekend with them. Judy is going to walk part of the way with us as a "unoffical" walker this year. Judy is helping Cheryl and I raise the money we need. Anyone visiting my sight on behalf of Judy, thank you so very much! Judy, Cheryl and myself appreciate all the support. Walking for 39 miles seems like nothing compared to what so many of these women have been through.
